From snow-covered mountains to vibrant downtown streets. Vancouver is an excellent place to experience winter in Canada. It’s no surprise that this city has something for everyone. From avid skiers and snowboarders to those who prefer indoor activities like dining or shopping. No matter what your preference is, there are plenty of things to do in Vancouver during the colder months. Here’s our guide on some of the best things to do in Vancouver in winter!

Skiing & Snowboarding

Vancouver is known for its excellent skiing and snowboarding. Locations – and rightly so! Grouse Mountain is a popular spot for skiing and snowboarding. Boasting over 15 runs and 7 lifts as well as offering lessons onsite if you’re a beginner. Alternatively, Cypress Mountain is also just 45 minutes away.
